National Wreaths Across America Ceremony at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 12-18-2021

Christmas News from Gate of Heaven Cemetery with Wreaths Across America 2021

Gate of Heaven Cemetery was 1 of over 3100 locations to participate in the 2021 National Wreaths Across America, on Saturday, December 18th, 2021.

With our outstanding Hamilton County Police Officers and Honor Guards; Bagpiper, Roger Loth; Taps, Ed Hughes; Sponsor and Volunteers from Clermont County Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol; Key Speaker, Commander of the Northeast Post 630 of the American Legion Blue Ash, Captain of the Marine Corps Vietnam, and Former Agent of the US Secret Service, James Meyers; Archdiocese of Cincinnati, Deacon Rick Gallenstein, Veteran of US Air Force Vietnam; US Army Veteran Steve Gehring, US Navy Veteran Joe Flaherty, US Air Force WWll Veteran James Spicer, US Coast Guard Veteran Dave Lahni and the American US POW/MIA Representative, Veteran from the US Army, Steve Wagner; Sponsor and Volunteers from L3Harris Technologies; Volunteers from Jones Lang LaSalle; numerous, wonderful volunteers from our parishes, and participants from our greater Cincinnati community; combined along with the Gate of Heaven Cemetery team, all made the ceremony a special, fulfilling “moment in time” to:
