Officer Sonny Kim was interred here at Gate of Heaven Cemetery on Friday, June 26, 2015.

Sonny Kim was killed in the line of duty on June 19, 2015 while responding to a 911 call.

Thus, in 2016 the “Regulators LE MC” started the Sonny Kim Fallen Officers Memorial Ride to raise not only awareness, but to raise money to support fallen officers and first responders and their families. 

This year the fundraiser takes place on June 4th, 2022 and registrations for the ride and all donations are shared with The Lighthouse Youth Services, The Shield Cincinnati and Ohio C.O.P.S. All are welcome to register to participate in the ride, or donate to the charity, or to be present to pray and honor Officer Sonny Kim here at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
