Wreaths Across America 2023

Theme 2023  is “Serve and Succeed”

This 2023 over 4000 locations across the USA and abroad will be holding this dedicated annual ceremony for Wreaths Across America. On Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 12:00p.m., Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be one of those locations participating. This special ceremony at our location will be in the veterans’ garden, section 28, to remember and honor our veterans through the laying of remembrance wreaths donated by those who order from WAA for this location.

If any wreaths are to be laid at veterans’ gravesites, they are all from donations of those who go to the Wreaths Across America website and place their orders to donate for the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Cincinnati participating “location.” If you would like to donate one wreath, or multi wreaths, for veterans interred at Gate of Heaven, go to www.wreathsacrossamerica.org.

• 1) Scroll down to the very bottom of their main opening page
• 2) On the bottom left you will see Locations and Groups, click on that
• 3) Then click on Location and Group Search
• 4) You will see 2 circles, then click on circle of Sponsorship Group
• 5) Then enter in that Sponsorship Group line OH0289P
• 6) You will then see OH0289P – CLERMONT COUNTY COMPOSITE SQUADRON – CIVIL AIR PARTROL
• 8) Click on Sponsor and then you may enter your kind, donation/order

This key local “Sponsor” here at Gate of Heaven the past two years has been OH0289P Clermont County Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol. For every wreath ordered/donated using their sponsor ID# OH0289P, five dollars ($5) will go back to their youth squadron and their mission. The last date to order/donate the wreaths is Tuesday, November 28.
