Gate of Heaven Cemetery’s Open House weekend, July 13 and July 14, with Archbishop Dennis Schnurr’s blessing of the new mausoleum, St. Padre Pio ~ St. Gertrude; the spectacular art exhibit by savant artist Aaron Strait and his mother, artist Dawn Strait Wallace, to benefit Cincinnati Center for Autism and Companions on a Journey Grief Support non-profit social service organization; Tours of Ordinary People with Extraordinary Lives; and Tours of the Trees in the oldest sections of the cemetery and touching upon more Ordinary people with Extraordinary lives was a wonderful success. Those two days were spiritual, fulfilling, touching, educational, beautiful, and uplifting for many who attended. We were very blessed with wonderful weather too!
